VW Show Update: The Thunder Bunny is coming!!
You've seen photos from SEMA. You've read about it online. Now you
can see it live and in person at our 2nd Annual VW Show and Swap Meet, this
Sunday (March 25th) at Niello Volkswagen!
For those of you that have not been introduced to the Thunder Bunny, let me briefly tell you it's credentials: Born from the concept of the original Thunder Bunny made by Neuspeed in the early 80's, Volkswagen and Neuspeed put this latest incarnation together to update and commemorate the original, then debuted it at the 2006 SEMA show. Under the hood is a highly modified, turbo-charged 2.5 liter five-cylinder engine that puts out 225 horsepower and an impressive torque curve. Outside is a stylized body with muscular tones and eye-catching graphics. Handling, exhaust, and interior comforts were given the same attention, with too many features to list here. See it for yourself at VW Vortex. Volkswagen is sending the Thunder Bunny here, to show at Niello Volkswagen on Sunday.
